Your BOD voted to make a few changes in 2009 which hopefully will help out the tournament directors and some of the western anglers.

Mr Bass will be two tournaments as a test program for 2009, one east and one west.  The issue will be revisted next year to see if this was well received and attended.  Anglers may fish either or both of these tournaments.  The date restrictions on Mr Bass have also been relaxed to allow the tournament to be scheduled in the state or further north after the seasons open.

The state team tournaments (regionals) may now be scheduled on any weekend in June instead of only on the third weekend in June.  This allows scheduling flexibility to allow a "piggy-back" with a district tournament if desired if going into New York or elsewhere for the regional as some seasons open on the third weekend restricting the tournament to Saturday-Sunday.
