Definition: Any event involving fish habitat enhancement, fish stocking, park enhancements or other clean-up projects. Co-operation with USACE, state and local park officials is encouraged and recommended. This is not the limit to qualifying conservation projects; any questions as to the acceptance of a conservation project will be left up to the State Conservation Director.
Guidelines:
- All events must be reported after the event to the State Conservation Director. Results, pictures, articles and all members involved must be reported for qualification.
- October 1st will serve as the cut off date for the years events to qualify to fish in the State Classic.
- Club qualification will be based on 50% of your roster participation in an event.
- All clubs must have a Conservation Director appointed and reported to the State Conservation Director.
- Each club must hold 1 conservation event per year.
- Shared events will qualify clubs fulfilling the 50% member participation.
- People belonging to multiple clubs must do a qualifying event through the club they designate as their mother club.
