PENNSYLVANIA BASS FEDERATION DISTRICT 3

April 11th, 2011

CALL TO ORDER:   The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM by Vice Chairman M. Sabbi.

ROLL CALL:   5 clubs were represented.

Your 2011 club representatives present:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:   By Tom Dellinger

• March minutes were taken by Chester County B. Fitch.

TREASURER’S REPORT:  By Ron Rook

• Copies of the Treasurer’s report were handed out.
• A motion to approve was made by Tri County. Seconded by Lebanon County.

PUBLIC RELATIONS:   N/A

YOUTH REPORT:   N/A

 TOURNAMENT REPORT:  By Mike Sabbi & Steve Koch

• A motion by Lebanon County and seconded by Tri-County D-3 was made to wave a $50.00 trailer user fee for the Mr. Bass tournament to be held on Friday and Saturday.
• Sunday’s D-3 Potomac river tournament has 27 boaters and 21 co-anglers registered.
• ATTENTION MR. BASS ANGLERS & CO-ANGLERS: Mike Sabbi announced that he will accept completed applications up till 9:00 PM Friday for the D-3 tournament on Sunday.
• D-3 voted to purchase (4) gift certificates totaling $180.00 from SFT and award them to the forth and fifth place angler and co-angler of the D-3 tournament held Sunday.
• Lebanon County donated Rapala crankbaits to be given out at Sunday’s D-3 tournament.
• Due to expected heavy congestion at the morning launch, co-anglers will be asked to check lights, livewells, and kill switches before the start of the tournament.

 OLD BUSINESS:

• A financial breakdown of the flea marked was handed out at the March meeting.
• Estimated profit was reported to be around $1800.00.

NEW BUSINESS:

• Mike Sabbi announced that after the March meeting, Bob Kline had officially resigned as Chairman of D-3 and Chairman of the flea market.
• Mike will chair the D-3 meetings for the remainder of the year.
• Ray Bradshaw has accepted the responsibilities of Vice Chair until the end of the year.
• D-3 will be looking to fill both those positions for 2012.
• D-3 will also be looking to fill the position of tournament director for 2012.
• A huge Thank You to Lancaster Co Hawg Hunters Gary Sausman who graciously volunteered to store the D-3 trailer at his residence.
• Winner of the 50/50 was Mike Sabbi.

• Next District 3 meeting May 9th, 2011 starting at 7:30 PM.
