CALL TO ORDER:  The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Chairman Bob Kline

ROLL CALL:  8 clubs were represented.

SECRETARY’S REPORT:   By Tom Dellinger

• Copies of the January Secretary’s report were handed out.
• A motion to approve was made by Borderline. Seconded by Lebanon County.

TREASURER’S REPORT:  By Ron Rook

• Copies of the Treasurer’s report were handed out.

• A motion to approve was made by Borderline. Seconded by Tri-County.

CONSERVATION REPORT:  By Mike Burton

• Mike gave a brief update on the outcome of the PFBC meeting he and other members attended on January 24th & 25th. Here is a link of the proposed rule making change if approved. http://www.fishandboat.com/rulemakings/223nprp.pdf
• Mike passed out an 8 page copy of the Susquehanna River Management System for review
• Final vote set for April 11th & 12th

PUBLIC RELATIONS: 

• There are 392 members currently registered on the website, up18 from last month

STEERING:   By Bob Kline

• BOD meeting scheduled for Sunday March 6th.
• Bob reported that the March BOD meeting may be the last meeting at the Ramada in Milesburg. New locations around the area are being pursued for the scheduled June 5th BOD meeting.
• Items of concern to be presented at the March meeting are the numerous outstanding checks for payment not cashed from the sale of daily number raffle tickets
• Club members also voiced their concerns about the difficulties of navigating the website

YOUTH REPORT:  By Bob Kline

• District 4 hosted a “Cast for Kids” on the 25th – 27th of February at the Jaffa Sports Show in Altoona, PA
• 65 contestants competed in the event
• Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers for their donations and time
• Child Wish is scheduled for May 22nd at Raystown Lake. If you wish to volunteer, you can contact Bob Stiver at: stiver2827@atlanticbb.net
• The 2011 Jr. State Championship will be held at Presque Isle August 20th & 21st

TOURNAMENT REPORT:  By Bob Kline

D-3 tournament dates:

• #1 April 17th Potomac- Smallwood (day after Mr. Bass)
• #2 May 22nd Gunpowder – Dundee
• #3 July 17th Northeast – Anchor Marine
• Note: Confirmation time for gate opening at Gunpowder will be posted ASAP
• “Out of state” launch fee is $11.00 along with an additional parking fee.
• The new Weigh-in System has arrived. Bob will be making a “test run” at his home on Sunday the 13th. You are invited!

 OLD BUSINESS:

• Help is needed at the flea market for set-up Friday around noon and again Saturday and Sunday You can contact Mike Sabbi at: highhook2@verizon.net or Bob Kline at: rekfish@ptd.net if you wish to volunteer

NEW BUSINESS:
