CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Vice Chairman Mike Sabbi

ROLL CALL: 8 clubs were represented.

SECRETARY’S REPORT: By Tom Dellinger

TREASURER’S REPORT: By Ron Rook
• Copies of the September Treasurer’s report were handed out.
• Ron issued a check to D. Ciarletta for trailer expenses.

CONSERVATION REPORT: Taken from the PA Bass website
• The Pa. Fish Commission, by a 9-0 vote, passed a resolution that the SUSQUEHANNA RIVER FROM SUNBURY SOUTH TO HOLTWOOD DAM (AND THE BIG BASS REG. WATERS OF THE JUNIATA) BE CLOSED TO ALL BUT CATCH & IMMEDIATE RELEASE BASS FISHING.
• There will be a 90-day comment period held, but these new regulations will be in the 2011 book and take effect 1-1-11.
• There will be a meeting held at Susquehanna Fishing Tackle’s store Thursday October 21 at 6 PM to discuss any options available to oppose the Pa. Fish Commission’s new regulations.
• You can read a letter that was submitted to the Pa. Fish & Boat Commission on our behalf by Mike Burton posted on the PA Bass website.

PUBLIC RELATIONS:
• The Pennsylvania Bass Website has 357 registered members. Members are continuing to register every month. Please continue to encourage your club members to register.

STEERING:
• There is a BOD meeting scheduled for November 7th, 2010 in Milesburg.
• Website difficult to navigate compared to the old. Bob plans to present this at the BOD meeting in Milesburg in November.
• Discussion on how many BOD meetings to be scheduled for 2011.

YOUTH REPORT:
• Will ask Bob about how to officially thank Cabela’s for their generosity hosting the “Cast for Kids” Competition.

TOURNAMENT REPORT:
• District 7 voted not to participate in the Regional format in 2011.
• District 1 & 3 will remain together in 2011.
• District 3 voted for the Potomac River in April/May time frame.
• District 1 & 3 will share the Oneida pick (probably Sunday, the day after Eastern Regional)
• District 1 will choose the 3rd tournament site.
• Mr. Bass may be held Saturday & Sunday in 2011.

OLD BUSINESS:
• Still looking to fill the State Conservation Director position.
• The new digital scale, program, and accessories have been ordered by Bob Kline.

NEW BUSINESS:
• M. Sabbi will begin sending out newsletters to all the flea market vendors.
• D-3 officer nomination was held. All accepted for another term.

• Next District 3 meeting November 8th, 2010 starting at 7:30 PM.
