CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM by Chairman Bob Kline

ROLL CALL: 8 clubs were represented.

SECRETARY’S REPORT: By Tom Dellinger
• August minutes taken by Chester County – Brian Fitch were handed to Tom Dellinger to be posted on the TBF website.

TREASURER’S REPORT: N/A

CONSERVATION REPORT: Mike Burton
• The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has their scheduled quarterly meeting on October 4 & 5, 2010
• There is a “Lead Ban” petition circulating over the internet via Cabelas’,Bass Pro & e-mails asking for your participation. Please take a moment to read and respond.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: By Doug Knepp
• The Pennsylvania Bass Website has 348 registered members. Members are continuing to register every month. Please continue to encourage your club members to register.
• It was reported that most find the website difficult to navigate compared to the old. Bob plans to present this at the BOD meeting in Milesburg in November.

STEERING: By Bob Kline
• There was a BOD meeting scheduled for November 7th, 2010 in Milesburg.



YOUTH REPORT: By Vince Deboeser
• 11 kids competed in the “Reel Kids Casting” competition at Cabela’s
• A special “Thanks You” to Cabela’s for their generosity in awarding all the contestants with numerous gifts, rods & reels, terminal tackle, etc.
• Thanks to Ray Sharp and wife, Frank Boncore, Greg Smith, Mike Sabbi, Vince Deboeser, and Ray Bradshaw. The Cabela's people were CJ and John Riley (Fishing Manager) who helped make this effort a success.
• To date, nothing has been posted on the web site about the “Reel Kids Casting” event. Members expressed concern and disappointment with the delay in posting event pictures and award winners on the website. Bob to address this at the BOD.

TOURNAMENT REPORT:
• Updates for the State tournament are revised often. Check the website for the latest information and Mandatory pre tournament meeting details.

OLD BUSINESS:
• Still looking to fill the State Conservation Director position.
• Repairs were performed on the D-3 trailer. Four new tires, state inspection and a few other details were addressed at a jaw dropping cost of only $341.93.
• Ray Bradshaw of Lebanon County accepted to spearhead the effort to purchase a new scale and accessories in time for the State Championship tournament.

NEW BUSINESS:
• Our sponsor SFT asked to borrow the D-3 trailer for their open tournament held November 7th. Vote taken was unanimous.
• District Elections Nov. 11--- Nominations October meeting
• M. Sabbi has been asked to consider running for the Pennsylvania Bass VP position for 2011.
• No raffle ticket drawing was held this month.
