President's Message

A New Look For the Federation

Over the last couple of years we have crafted our Federation into a new organization. We reshaped ourselves after a split brought on by our disagreement with BASS and established a new relationship with the TBF and FLW. New By-Laws were written and approved and slowly we began to grow our numbers. We overhauled the tournament format to keep our anglers familiar with the National tournament trends. New faces are popping up in meetings and in Federation functions. We are certainly not your grandfather’s fishing club any more. Bass boats, fishing rods and even the fishing shirts have transformed past your wildest dreams in the last few years.

To keep the Pennsylvania Bass Federation on par with what the future holds, we needed a new vehicle with which to communicate, advertise and even brag a little. That vehicle is our new web site. It is our key to new sponsors, new members and new and easier forms of communication between us and others outside our Federation. A new and easier to use photo gallery, message boards and even tournament forms we can fill out on line. Needless to say I am excited about the new site and hope you are as well. Please get on the new site and test drive it and its new features.

It’s not what the future sends your way, it how you handle it that makes the difference.

See ya on the water,
Mike
