Thanks and Merry Christmas

 

Another year has gone by the way side. All of this year’s fishing memories are saved on your cell phone and the disappointments already forgotten. Reflecting back on 2010 from a Pa. Bass Federation view point, it has been another very good year. We have held the line on financial issues while not sacrificing programs or benefits to our members. This is due in part to our renewed efforts in fund raising and cultivating new sponsors, not to mention our loyal sponsors like Plano, Ranger, Lowrance and old friends Mike and George at Susquehanna Fishing. We have also had a beneficial relationship with the TBF. One could say that our Federation is very lucky to retained it’s members and financial stability in tough times, but I believe it is just plain hard work and commitment by our officers and directors and especially our membership. Division of the work and responsibilities is key to running an efficient operation, I am very blessed to have had this caliber of people willing to step up and take precious time out of their busy lives to make tournaments run, web sites function and execute the really exciting jobs like membership, secretary and treasurer. So, from me to Tammy, Ron, Chris, Dave, Fred and Ray and Mike a sincere thanks for all you have done in 2010. To all of the Federation, a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Here is hoping that everyone gets some great new fishing toys to play with for the up coming year.

            Don’t forget our troops and those less fortunate than ourselves over the holidays and spend time with your families so they will let you go fishing when the ice melts.
