2011 Susquehanna River regulations change in Pennsylvania
The Pa. Fish Commission, by a 9-0 vote, passed a resolution that the SUSQUEHANNA RIVER FROM SUNBURY SOUTH TO HOLTWOOD DAM ( AND THE BIG BASS REG. WATERS OF THE JUNIATA) BE CLOSED TO ALL BUT CATCH & IMMEDIATE RELEASE BASS FISHING,
This will eliminate all Bass Tournaments held on this section of the River(s), with the exception of paper tournaments (Golden Rule) which can still be held, as along as Big Bass Regs are followed (closed season etc.)
There will be a 90-day comment period held, but these new regulations will be in the 2011 book and take effect 1-1-11.
